14 year old Alan Rush is an average teenager in every sense of the word. Most people would think that's a good thing. To have a normal life with no drama or action is something a lot of people would want.

But not Alan. He's always felt that there was something more to life than boring, small town America. He wants something exciting to happen to him. Something cool. Something adventurous. Something magical.

Then, halfway through the first month of high school, his wish is granted. Alan unlocks the power of Ether, the source of all life and an endless supply of magic. He is then found by a boarding school called Hammerson Academy, a top notch school in New York that only accepts one in two hundred students a year.

He leaves for the school, and soon finds out that he's not the only one with the power of Ether. Hammerson is, in fact, one of many secret schools made to train "Ethermancers," people who can draw on the limitless power of the Ether.

Alan soon meets Matthew Elliott, a guy who is oddy interested normal people; and Cindy Davis, an orphan who wants to find out who her real parents are. But in a world of magic and sorcery, only so much can go right.

After checking out a seemingly random book from the library, Alan and the others learn of a plot to take over the school from the inside.

And that the main force is among the student body.

After being rejected by the staff, the group then takes matters into their own hands as they try to find out who they can trust, what their options are, and how to combat the ones trying to take over Hammerson Academy.

16-year-old Ryan is probably the only orphan in all of England whose parents are still alive. At least, that's what his visions are telling him. When Ryan finds out about a school that no one's ever heard of, he knows that school is somehow the key to finding his parents. But when he finally makes it through the wolf forest to get there, nothing goes as planned. Because there is a reason Ryan grew up separated from his family and the life he should've known. And a reason why it might've been for the best if he'd never found his way back home again. There is already someone expecting his arrival, someones who's ready to risk it all for revenge, and when Ryan wakes up ater being attacked, he's not entirely himself anymore. And whatever has become of him, it's clear that he's now a threat to everyone around him. Turns out Ryans parents are the leaders of a pack of werewolves, deadset on keeping the school and their whole society hidden from humans, and protected from vampires. In this new world, where everyone has a different motive to want him gone, Ryan has to fight for his right to stay with the werewolves and stay in control of his own self, otherwise he'll never see his parents again, and he might just be what causes the destruction of the whole werewolf pack for good. ***** I would say this story is fine for ages 14 and up. This story is finished, but in Swedish ;) It's around 110k words and I have now finished translating it into English! I have currently uploaded more than half of the book (I'd say the midpoint is around chapter 44), and the whole thing will be uploaded probably before August. This story takes place in northern England, and I am obviously not English! So if you are from England, and have some feedback for me regarding use of words and such, please let me know, I greatly appreciate it.

"So who the heck am I?" I stared defiantly at Freya. "I am a normal person. I go to high school. I have parents. What am I ?" I asked. "That is what we need to find out. Do you trust us enough to stay with us? Help us? You are powerful. You are the only Palenthian, first time in centuries who has magic inside her. Powerful magic. More powerful than most Valen. I can feel it. Stay with us and help us slay monsters. Please." I gulped. "What will I get for that?" "Answers." Renna Evans was just another normal girl in another normal world, living with her normal (and filthy rich) parents and going to a normal high school. Basically her life was as normal as could be. Until she went on a normal walk on a hill side. Little did Renna know that from that point, her life would be anything but normal. Welcome to the world of Renna Evans; a world which is divided into two parts. Those who call themselves The Valenthians, possessing power and magic; and those without it are the Palenthians. What is Renna, really? Will she be able to do what is called upon her? Will she be able to place the pieces of the puzzle which will give her the perfect (or heart-shattering) picture of her past? Will she be able to prove her worth in this new world? Or will her world collapse? And what about the handsome but mysterious Ryan Carter? What exactly is he hiding? Renna will discover a world of peace and war, love and hatred, trust and betrayal; all in her single quest for one thing. FREEDOM.

Alexa Stark, daughter of Tony Stark. She's an official wizard, in more ways than one after a year at Hogwarts and some teaching from Strange. She survived her O.W.L.s and is ready to return to Hogwarts for another school year, but when an old tradition is brought back at Hogwarts, will she be able to rise to the challenge? **************** Alexa Stark has officially survived her first year at Hogwarts. She learned five years worth of material in just nine months (with the help of Kahoot, Jeopardy, and Quizlet Live), and she introduced the wizards to a little bit of the muggle world. She made new friends, and dealt with her first solo superhero crisis. She even managed to keep everybody from dying! Now she's going back for her sixth year, but if she thinks she's seen everything the Wizarding world has in store for her, she's wrong. Sixth year brings all kinds of new challenges, and she'll have to rely on her friends--and of course, the training she got from her paranoid family members--to see her through. After everything she went through last year, this should be a piece of cake, right? **************** "You've got a Howler!" "A what?" "A howler! It's a letter that yells at you, and it gets worse the longer you ignore it!" "Who the hell would send me a howler?" "I don't know, but you better open it!" "Alright, here goes..." "ALEXA! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOU CAN SEND YELLING LETTERS? THIS IS AMAZING! ANYWAY, YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE HOW DUMB THE CAPSICLE LOOKED THIS MORNING IN TRAINING..." **************** Cover by @Mrmilo15 The first book in this series is An American at Hogwarts, and you really need to read that first for this book to make sense. Like the last book, this will mostly follow the Harry Potter timeline, but it won't really follow the Marvel timeline at all. I don't own any of the Harry Potter or Marvel characters or storylines, and I update every three days.

Maeve, was a quite unique girl. Whoever witnessed her smile or laugh was instantly intoxicated by her presence, and thats what happened to a particular twin who's eyes had been roaming the Great Hall when he laid his sight on a particular Hufflepuff. She grew up learning from a young age that she was a witch. Her parents surrounded her with magic and Magical Creatures. Her grandfather left her dad his studies and animals. Her first pet was a Puffskein, not your average household pet for most, but for her it was just perfect. Except when it stuck its tongue up her nose when she was napping. But none the less, she grew up happy and surrounded with love and magic. She knows that her last name is kind of out there, people stop her parents all the time saying that they respected her grandfather and his findings. She's read his book a bunch of times, but she didn't understand why he was so popular. He was just her nutty gramps who loved the magical beast. But I guess, because he showed the world the amazing finds we have in our world living with us, she could admit he was pretty cool. She just hoped that she could change the Wizarding World with just as much love for the history of her world and who was in it. *chapters that are revised are only labeled the number, non-revised chapters still have chapter in front of the number** Besides Maeve, all characters and the basic story line belong to JK Rowling started Sept.. 27 2020 - finished Oct. 27, 2020 editing- March 2021
Rising of the Weakest Mage by Jacob_McCauley
124 parts Complete
(Please read first two chapters for info, thank you!) For a long time, elemental magic has been widely known, used, and practiced. Elemental magic is based upon the four core elements - Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Elemental magic is most prominent in England, where many mages gather to learn and research elemental magic. However, during the early 1500's, the Fire Outbreaks happened. Several various fire mages suddenly swept through and destroyed the smaller cities of England, killing many in their way and leaving no survivors. Due to this the Council of Magic, the governing figure of elemental magic, issued an act - The Anti-Fire Act. This effectively banned any and all use of fire magic within all of England. The Council of Magic was later changed to the Triumvirate in the 1540's, and from then on are set on killing off every last fire mage. Allen Fleming, a 15 year old air mage, wishes to attend the Magical Knights Academy. The academy is where many young, prominent mages attend to improve their use of magic, and eventually become a magical knight. Magical knights are the respected mages who protect the cities of England and keep its citizens safe. But in order to even attend the academy, Allen must first pass the entrance exam. However, Allen's magic is extremely weak and he relies mostly on his physical fighting ability. Air is considered the strongest element within England, and with his lack of air magic prowess, many mages hate and ignore him. But what many do not know, is that Allen possesses a second element - the fire element! Without knowing who his real parents are, and having to keep his fire magic a secret, Allen has to work hard if he ever wishes to become a magical knight and achieve his goals. However, with tensions rising within the Triumvirate, fire mages on the run, and other events happening behind the scenes, Allen must go from being the weakest to the strongest if he even hopes to stop what may be coming in the near future.
Cassiopea's School for the Gifted by artsykid04
12 parts Complete
In a world where magical creatures and humans intermix, there are two types of magic and two types of people. Dark magic and light magic. Good people and evil people. Our main character is going to learn that your powers do not define who you are as a person. Arion Griffin lives in a society where people with light magic are 'good' and people with dark magic are 'bad'. He comes from a long line of dark magic. Unfortunately, this causes many problems for his social life since his family's reputation precedes him and makes it so no one will talk with him. He is worried it will make his greatest fear come true. He is terrified he is on the path to becoming evil like his parents. Then, one day at school he gets an invitation from Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Sure he's heard of it, but only in rumors. The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. He makes friends and learns that just because he has dark magic, doesn't mean he is evil. *Idk if this is actually a good story but I had a lot of fun writing it! :) *This story has been edited

Charlie X Reader, 'Playing With Fire' Book 1 (Series Completed) *** "Uh, yeah. I stopped going to classes a while back. Believe it or not, that's not good for the GPA. I had, like, a 26 average or something," I said like it wasn't a big deal. "Damn, that's not great," he admitted. He rounded the corner into Percy's room. I could hear Percy fighting with the twins in their room. "Why'd you do that?" he asked teasingly. "My dad died," I answered honestly. "Oh, shit. I'm sorry," he said and his face dropped. "It's alright," I dismissed. "Seriously, stop looking at me like that." "I can't help it," he said. "You're making it worse. You look like a wounded puppy," I whined. "Don't be like everyone else. I'm sick of people treating me differently because of this whole thing. Treat me normally." "You mean, like flirt with you a little bit?" "Well, I, uh," I stuttered. He grinned at me. "You're blushing." *** Seventh-year Y/N Y/L/N is what the professors would call a prime example of wasted potential, with an impressively bad 26% average. As far as she's concerned, she is past academic redemption. However, Dumbledore and McGonagall decide to introduce a new opportunity for struggling students, a scholarship that covers a trip abroad. Y/N is desperately in need of this scholarship if she wants to graduate from Hogwarts, but she is struggling through more than anyone knows. The only thing that is keeping her going is the family she's found with the Weasleys. They're an odd bunch and that's exactly why she fits in. Because she doesn't. Things are simple with the Weasley family. That is until she crosses a line with one of the Weasley boys, a path that can never be retraced. Y/N finds herself trapped in a web of lies that she had created. One spark and everything she has worked for could be gone in an instant. And she's playing with fire. This story contains mature content. Trigger warnings are included at the beginning of chapters. I hope you enjoy!
