Strike, You're Out.

For 16 year old Oliva, (Who much rather go by Oliver) life hasn't been a walk in the park, like most people. Her dad passed away due to his medical conditions, her mother got remarried to a 'Dad' Oliver will always know as abusive, and guess who he brought along? A son. Her mother, once a happy beautiful woman, now a wicked, negative one. She neglect and just watches her pain silently, making fun of her after every beating. Her Stepfather takes his stress and anger out on her, for even the slightest things. Her Stepbrother on the other hand, is completely different. His father, nor his Stepmother would never lay a finger on him. During the beatings, he would usually be at work. But when he wasn't, he was forced to watch the beatings. He does everything in his power to help her life be a little better, Swearing to himself one day things will change.
And when that day comes, what exactly will change?
Will he take a stand to this mess..?
Or will he turn out like the rest of them...?
