Sara Edwards lived in the small town of Hartsville, South Carolina. When she was fifteen, she entered a contest hosted by NCIS. The contest was a simulated crime that participants had to solve, and a complicated one at that. Sara solved it in less than a day, when it took the best field agents over a week. But she didn't stop there. She hacked her way past the firewalls of NCIS to send them a virus that not only simultaneously crashed every active computer in the building, but shut down their entire system, country-wide. The FBI, CIA, NSA and the DOD were all stunned. As of their agents moved to grab her, NCIS cut her a deal: if she could find a way to work full time for them, right away, they would allow her to disappear from record. The girl took this challenge with a smile on her face and a glint in her eye; I had faked my own death less than a week later. I am the first Special Agent under the age of 21 to ever work for a government agency, and this is my story.
