"I liked you better when you were asleep."

"And I liked you better when you were naked."

〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰

"I'm not meant to like you Blake. In fact I'm supposed to hate you."

"And do you?" He asks as his nose tickles my neck. Goose bumps surface as I struggle to breathe.

"Sometimes."

"Hmm... well good. I'd be worried if you didn't."

〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰

Blake Hammond can be compared to EL James' Christian Grey. He's aggressive, broody, short tempered and discards women the second he becomes remotely bored with them. For the past 5 years he's used people to get what he wants and refuses to acknowledge his feelings.

But when Lena Coleman comes knocking on his door in the middle of the night looking for a place to stay his life gets turned upside down. Before he even knows her last name his womanising ways vanquish and he contemplates opening up to the girl on the run with the bright green eyes and the mysterious scar on her cheek.

Lena Coleman is in desperate need of refuge. Forced to leave her life in Miami, without her controlling "boyfriend" knowing, she finds herself homeless with no money and no qualifications. So when her childhood best friend Ryan offers her a place to stay she's thrilled.

But when Lena starts falling for Ryan's housemate Blake she realises perhaps he's not who he appears to be? Maybe there's more beneath the surface of the rugged bad boy who pushes her away all the time?

And as Lena's secrets become public knowledge, Blake finds himself choosing between following his heart or keeping up his player's reputation.

And for the majority of this book Ryan is clueless but adorable so he'll probably be your favourite 😂

Completed "What the hell do you think you're doing?" I asked, glaring at him while he forcefully dragged me out of class. "You told me you need help, and here I am!" Blake yelled. "Where did that come from?! What are you even talking about?!" I screamed at him. "I know you talked to Ryder about your situation. " My eyes widen and I yanked my hands out from his grasp. "I hate you..." I growled and starting to turn around to walk back to class. " You don't mean that... I love you, goddamn it! " He shouted that loud that the students around us stopped what they're doing and looked at us. I stopped walking. Before I can make a move to turn around, he beat me to it and slammed his soft pink lips against mine. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Meet Jade Williams, typical fat, nerd, and loner you will meet in the school, but she's not how you depict it. She only has 2 best friends, Layla and Edward. They've known each other since they were 6. Jade is not the type to socialize with people, especially people thinking that they're royalty, and that's probably why she was labeled as a "loner " at bottom of the school's social chain. And on the other hand, Blake Riley, the school's most popular, hottest, and sexiest bad boy. Typical school bad boy with his signature black leather jacket and boots. All the girls drool over him, but he didn't give a shit about them. He was mysterious, he was one of the 5 Musketeers with Jason, William, Ryder, and Andy. What happens when the nerd met the school's bad boy just because of the biology pop quiz and they became friends? and soon lovers? When both of them get to know each other, their hearts slowly ache, but why? Will they heal? Or is it only one of them? Read it to find out more * Sort of a cliche story * WARNING: STRONG LANGUAGE

"I thought about running away, setting off to see the world before I couldn't see anything at all. I had never been out of the country. I wanted to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower, see the castles in Prague, ride a gondola in Venice. I wanted to do something crazy and fall in love and have my heart broken and then do it all over again. But then the bell rang, and I just got up and walked to my next class." ~*~ Blake Summers was always the poster child for good girl perfection: she had straight As, never got into trouble, and followed rules to a fault.
