A record of some of the life of Rebekah Davidson (and also a dabble in the life of her brother Charles), a young woman in the Victorian era; exploring some of the social attitudes of that time. And trying to survive her mother.

Period drama.
Writing about these things and taking up a new voice was inspired to me by Jane Austen and Charlotte Bronte - especially Pride and Prejudice and Jane Eyre.

Lady Catherine Bridgerton, nineteen years of age and finally prepared to make her debut into British Society. With her family being a noble, well known and powerful family, they all had to uphold more than just there own honour and imagery, they had to hold one another's. Pave a way for there siblings and for the good of there family. It is always scary when a young lady is introduced to society, much more when she was raised by her older brothers, much more than her sister's. And she happens to be rather headstrong, opinionated and full of courage. But, they must find her an excellent match to, let alone get along with her, but to also grant her love and prosperity, along with strengthening their line, giving her siblings better matches and choices. If only, it was not... him.
