Kurt Wagner is a sheltered circus acrobat and very religious Catholic. Elizabeth is a winged girl with a disturbed past. She no longer believes that God exists, and if he is, he doesn't love her. When these two meet in one of the worst possible circumstances, they become unlikely friends. As they continue to grow closer, will their friendship evolve into something more?
This is a story about Nightcrawler's past and how he met the x-men. I wanted to combine the two movies that he's in, with bits of the comic universe and my own scenarios and relationships sprinkled in. Hopefully, you guys enjoy! Also, I want to hear your opinions. Unlike his peers, Kurt's obvious physical mutation was something he was both praised and tormented for. His past is riddled with suffering, but what happens when events force him to reveal himself and tell his story to his friends in order for them to help him heal. Do they understand what it really means to be considered a monster? (I really enjoyed the show Xmen Evolution, but I think there was a missed opportunity for them to delve into Nightcrawler's backstory. This is a slightly darker tone than the show, but how I would go about his origin.
