Some friends are more friendly than others, and some friends are absolutely unwilling to let any kind of friendship stand in the way of business. When the city is no longer big enough for them both, something needs to be done.

This is another short story from the world of Rogue Sorcery, the first novel of my fantasy duology which is still a work in progress. The story was originally published on my deviantART account, but has been heavily revised since then.
