Basically this story is about "Shiftlings", a race I made up. They're "animals" that usually have powers that can transform into a "biped form" (a human).

Hellooo- so I have actually a lot of English followers and I decided I want them to know one of my stories, which is, as you can see - Deadstar's legend. I don't know advanced English, and I don't have the time to write that 10K words one more time, so google was very helpful. This turned ouf kind of like a professional book, I'm surprised I used that kind of vocabulary inside of it XD anyways, because it's google translated I couldn't find mistakes inside just because if I wrote it myself I'd also make them, for example the names (ignore things like Tiny Mustache if you see them XD) and the tenses ARE wrong. I had to look through this story and look for things like that, but its like 12.p.m.the midnight and also i'm lazy, you see so about the story i wrote the one-shot for a contest. It tells us the story of one of my OCs, that took a part in my book as a dead, crazy cat by an accident and I wanted to know her. After I wrote it, I was like- meh, but now I have read this both in polish and english (at least looked at it) and- ohh, deadstar's story is the saddest thing I ever saw in my life. little description so you'll check it. Deadstar, born as a Graykit in TwillightClan had a sister. Their relationship was kind of not working which made Graydawn- which changed one of the sisters and because of that everything bad happened. part of original description: One day Graydawn stepped on a thorn. written by awoteim in march 2022 translated by awoteim & google in december 2022 published on 1st 2023 as a special thing for you ❤️ thanks for following me here. It isn't safe here. I know you thought I was gone, but I'm here now. Please if come with me I will explain everything." I looked up at him. He was staring at me with defeat. "Daniel, you vanished... Y-You left me there all alone. I cried my heart out, my best-friend was gone. Now... You come back and ask me to with you. I don't know you anymore..." Once upon a time there was a girl name Evangeline King, Eve for short. She lives in a world full of shifters and non-shifters. Her parents were the King and Queen of people that hated shifters. Eve never believed them, because her best-friend was a shifter. His name is Daniel Grey, he could shift into a tiger. He would hide his secret from the others. But one day, Daniel vanished and Eve never saw him again. Over time her parents died, and her name and kingdom were forgotten. Eve became poor and went to live with her friend Amber. Who worked at the bakery, in a small village called Shimmer. Eve lived there for years, working at the local tavern to earn money to help Amber. To this very day, Eve still wonders what happened to her golden tiger.

Yes, some family's lean more towards one animal but there are occasions where a member will shift into a different animal. It all depends on your personality. There are 22 types of animals you can shift into. Some are common and some are rare. Now we have the birds: the Ravens, the Eagles, the Vultures, and the Falcons. Then we have the felines: the Panthers, the Tigers, the Cougars, the Snow Leopards, the Cheetahs, and the Lions. Then we have our canines: the wolves, the foxes, the coyotes, and the hyena's. Are common because there are the mythical ones too. The flying creatures: the Hippogriffs, the Dragons, the Pegasus's, the Phoenixes, the Thunderbirds. The water creatures: the Sirens, the Mermaids, the Kelpies. The shapeshifting academy is kind of like Hogwarts with the letters and using owls for sending mail. Yes, there is a castle for the academy and no, there isn't any witch or wizards those are supposedly extinct. Now I have to go were going to find out what animal we shift into at the ceremony soon. If only I knew then that there was actually 23 types of shifters ~~~~~~~~~~ I wrote this series when i was very young, so any mistakes or grammar issues, or long descriptions, I am sorry about, but I won't be fixing them anytime soon either.

this will be a book inspired by Warriorcats, it will happen right after the end of "a starless clan". it does go against "changing skies", so in this universe, "changing skies" doesn't and will never happen. this is my first book so i might have a ton of typos . and the story wont be as long as regular books cause i will focus only on action, so this is your spoiler warning, and i hope you enjoy (when i put words in () that means i want to say something)
