Yeah, THAT movie. This book is going to be my little rant about EVERYTHING that bothered me about that movie. These are my personal opinions so feel free to agree or disagree. If you liked this movie (?) I apologize in advance (but I highly doubt you exist). But if you hated it as much as I did, enjoy!

Kiyan never expected to be the Avatar. And now that she is, she's finding she never even wanted to be. She's used to her old life as a simple waterbender, with no great spiritual burdens or destinies or whatever nonsense this Avatar business has suddenly forced on her. Now, she's constantly on the run from the crazy lunatics who murdered the last two Avatars, and who've made it their mission to end the Cycle entirely. In an attempt to finally get her out of their reach, her protectors decide that a time machine is the way to go, and send her back to 130AG, to Republic City to seek mentoring from Avatar Aang himself. There's just one tiny problem. She's thirty years off target. Kiyan decides to wait out the end of the Hundred Years War in a little Earth Kingdom village with the family who's been kind enough to take her in. After all, she's safe there, and she never asked for this whole Avatar deal anyway. Unfortunately, fate has other plans, and her masterful strategy for avoiding danger is thrown into chaos with the arrival of a familiar scarred swordsman. [DISCLAIMER: I do not own any of the characters or organizations except for Kiyan and the people of her time. All credit goes to Nickelodeon and the fantastic creators of the show Avatar: The Last Airbender. Seriously, go check it out, it's amazing.]
