enemies, to friends, to lovers. ______________ hi there. so, this is modern. they still have bending, ba sing se is a place etc. it's just like ATLA except with technology i guess? not sure how to explain it. but we've got zukka because im in love with it, kataang and then.. toph. but there is not firelord stuff or anything like that. i'm editing this 3 chapters in because it followed the plot line better LMAO suki died. i haven't put too much research into when she died, but i'm gonna say this is like a year or so after the last episode of atla. they need to be aged up LMAO sokka is 17, zuko 18. katara 16 and for the sake of the plot aang is also 16. toph is 15. mature content warning. minimal swearing if y'all care LMAO. its slow burn and a lot of beating around the bush. they don't wanna admit anything and sokkas just overall afraid to love again after every woman or girl he's loved has died in some form. minus katara and toph. zukos head over heels you could say, he's realizing what affection really feels like. so this leaves him questioning

Kiyan never expected to be the Avatar. And now that she is, she's finding she never even wanted to be. She's used to her old life as a simple waterbender, with no great spiritual burdens or destinies or whatever nonsense this Avatar business has suddenly forced on her. Now, she's constantly on the run from the crazy lunatics who murdered the last two Avatars, and who've made it their mission to end the Cycle entirely. In an attempt to finally get her out of their reach, her protectors decide that a time machine is the way to go, and send her back to 130AG, to Republic City to seek mentoring from Avatar Aang himself. There's just one tiny problem. She's thirty years off target. Kiyan decides to wait out the end of the Hundred Years War in a little Earth Kingdom village with the family who's been kind enough to take her in. After all, she's safe there, and she never asked for this whole Avatar deal anyway. Unfortunately, fate has other plans, and her masterful strategy for avoiding danger is thrown into chaos with the arrival of a familiar scarred swordsman. I know, its cliche. But being a mixed-blood bender in the current times, and after almost 100 years of war, all Fire Benders are considered monsters. Even the innocent ones. Makinota is just trying to find her old life. Find her purpose. And most importantly, find who she can really trust. But in the end... aren't we all? (Long chapters and irregular updates. Though, I do update and I will keep going. This book in entirely a fountain of unneeded inspiration I can't put anywhere else, and something I do when I get writers block on everything else. alrighty, I am really excited for this one! It is the second in the series and follows Book Two: Earth in Avatar: the Last Airbender. I will give a chapter every time the previous one gets ten reads, at least until they exceed that amount. No one has gotten over the mysterious death of Madelyn, least of all Zuko. Since the incident at the North Pole, he has become a traitor to the Fire Nation and has left his Uncle so he can try and find his own path in life. The Gaang has tried to keep their promise and carry on to help Aang with his journey, but something always seems to be missing from their lives. Zuko eventually travels to a small Earth Kingdom village and meets a mysterious girl with a familiar face. They adventure together and try to help her solve her problems with her past and find solutions to Zuko's future. Disclaimer: Unfortunately, I don't own the Avatar series nor do I own anything I reference unless specifically labeled as such. I do however, own any and all original characters and extra subplots in the story.

But when you're actually there, and you realize that you're not just there but a Mary Sue too.... well that actually sucks. Awesome in its own way, but nobody wants to be a Mary Sue, or a Gary Stu or whatever. Oh right, I'm getting off track here. My name? Not Mary, that's for sure, but it generally depends on the story. See, if I was to introduce myself in a Japanese or another Asian styled world by my English name....that would be weird.... so I pick a name that I figure fits. Today my name is Amaya. Why? Well, I liked it. And I guess it fits. The name means "Night Rain", and it fits because well, I woke up in the middle of a forest in the middle of the night....and it was raining. Funny how that works huh? Also, I'm a waterbender. Neat right? I guess. But I digress. I should really get to the story right? Well, like I said, it was a rainy night, and I was cold, lost and alone....

Previously, disaster struck, resulting in a lot of stuff. You should check out the other stories, if you want some back story. More importantly, things are starting to heat up, and if I ever see Zuko again I'm gonna punch him in the nose for Amaya. But right now... it's time to save the world. Disclaimer... I believe all of these could have totally happened in the series so, to me, these are all canon, so they are in my headcanon. I really like Kataang but It didn't get as much screen time as I wanted it to, so this is my way of coping with that!
