Adabelle wasn't always fucked up. She used to be the shy little girl with a surprising amount of 'friends', but now she was a 16 year old mental hospital patient with an anxiety disorder, and suicidal tendencies who everyone assumed was mute.
Ellie was the girl who occupied her thoughts. The way Adabelle talked about her and thought about her, some might think she wasn't real. But she was. She attends Mason High School and is the same age as Adabelle, who has had a crush on Ellie for as long as she has known her.
