Years after America has fallen to flames, and presidency has been non-existent, the states went back to colonization, and we've made every state decision based off of popular sovereignty. And in New Jersey, we're having the worst massacre since the United States has ceased, and its right after every graduation ceremony.

After the Third World War, in 2026, Earth experienced what the people called, "the Great Calamity". this world wide disaster destroyed much of the worlds nations, but leaving North America and the Caribbean. left with no choice what was left of the old world went into isolation. after years of fighting in North America, the United States Of America was left, the sole surviving nation of the old world. with what technology they had, the US has vowed to keep the memory of the old and free the new of lies. and there's nothing to stop them from doing it. I do not own anything. This is my first time making this story. Edit: I do not own any of the pics except the story cover. I made it myself. Edit 2: this will be a slow update because of school. It's the end of Battle of Belleau Wood, but as the final Germans surrendered to the marines, a massive portal opened in the middle of Belleau Wood and in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The world stood shocked as the portal spewed out black creatures... Grimm. After the loss of an estimated 10,000~ soldiers the countries had decided to end this war and to take the fight to the monsters who wreaked havoc across the battlefield, not realizing it was a portal to a whole new world. Together forming the earliest version of the UN, instead called the 'United Monarchies and Democracies of the World' or the UMDW. I never believed it would end like this. I was just watching Netflix when the power went out, then before I knew it everyone was screaming, then the school began to shake and fell to the ground. Only three kids in my entire school were spared, four if you count me. I found a group of people heading to the east coast for a boat trip to a supposed safe haven in India. They died of disease days later. I found their bodies by the river. But I guess this is my life now, surviving with a scared boy, a pair of twins and trying to make it to the next day.
