What gives a pack strength? Is it the loyalty of the members themselves?

The sun wolves have always been a story of legend,  fur as bright as gold that almost seemed like fire when they ran into battle. Strength 5x more potent than a regular wolf. They were children of the sun and not the moon. Fifty years ago, there was an attack, and the sun wolves were almost wiped out of existence. The only ones who remained were the alphas family and 15 other, many children. 
  Now our story starts in 2013
