"Poetry is when an emotion has found it's thought and the thought has found words"
- Robert Frost

This quote relates to Grey, a shy teenager who has difficulty expressing herself through social situations, and relies on writing poetry to show how she truly feels. Hoping to get the recognition that she has longed for, she enters a creative writing competition where she displays her written poems for the world to see - under the alias Poetrix.

The poem topics vary from stereotypes to her own personal experiences from impacting events, such as bullying, to her family, to even that one neighbourhood cat she cannot stand. Is this the beginning of a revolution of self confidence or a destruction of temporary creativity?

Whispers from the Heart

144 parts Ongoing

Welcome to "Whispers from the Heart", my collection of poems that explore depths of love, hate and self-imagery. My poems mainly resonates on three themes: love, trust and loyalty. I've found solace in writing, and making poems a reflection of raw experiences. I hope you'll find pieces of yourself in these poems and that they will inspire you to listen to your own heart whispers.
