Someone worth living for ~ Shadowhunters

Spoilers for the Mortal Instruments serie, Infernal Devices serie and The Dark Artifices serie.

After the Dark War a lot of Shadowhunter children have lost their parents or other relatives. The Clave is looking for mundanes with the sight to create new Shadowhunters, because of the losses. A new treaty was signed between the Clave and the Fair Folk. It is called: "The Cold Peace".

Two girls named Gabriëlle Carstairs and Katherine Firestar, who are parabatai, lost everything in the Dark War and now they only have each other. Gabriëlle finds her mother's old diary and decides that it is time to find other relatives. She discovers Emma Carstairs and the two parabatai set out to Los Angeles. Meanwhile the Clave isn't excited to hear that the girls want to live in Los Angeles with the Blackthorn family and Emma Carstairs. They want the girls to live at the academy in Idris. This results in problems for the Clave and the residents from the Los Angeles Institute.

In this story John Carstairs has a younger sister who is the mother of Gabriëlle.
Some of the families are from Cassandra Clare. The other families are from madameCiel, someone from Quotev.
