From a young age Joel's parents told him that dreams can't hurt him.that was not the case when he was fifteen joel had a very realistic dream,maybe it was reality.All the parents had disappeared from the face of the earth,leaving anyone who was under eighteen to fend for themselves.
Apparently there was a curse on the town joel lived in,every once in awhile everyome under eighteen would have the same dream and it would start off the same.
