I suck at summaries but: "Trying to start over, especially when you don't want to, can be rather hard. Violet Dempsey would know. All she's known is dance, and a fast paced NYC life.. That is, until she's forced to move across the country to the small town of Pearwyn, Washington. This is where she meets Graham Bryant. He has the perfect life. Captain of the soccer team, the mayor's son, and student body president of Radley Academy. The two form an unlikely friendship, Violet learning Graham doesn't have everything, and Graham being able to see past Violet's façade. This is a story about saving yourself, because a wound can't really heal unless you open it. All it takes is a common interest, a little bit of sarcasm, and a whole lot of balancing." © 2013 by heavenlywaytodie. All rights reserved.

TW: this book may contain mentions of violence and of suicide. DISCLAIMER #1: I wrote this story when I was a teen and while some mental disorders are the focal point, they may not be accurate representations as I was far from being a psychologist. There are several things Lynn doesn't quite get about the world she lives in, which makes it harder for her to figure herself out. She is not your average teenager. She's young, intelligent, though something about her is off by now. Everyone is quick to misjudge and point fingers, everything and everyone is so corrupted that she's afraid she'll lose herself among a bunch of wandering, empty souls. Therapy can only help so much, depression is hard to die, and in Lynn's case it's caused solely by the fact she doesn't 'fit in'. She can't really find her place in the world. But there's something really special about her; Her dreams are haunted by a wonderful, mystical place. No one understands her, they think she's off her rocker, that she needs to cut her childish daydreams. But Lynn knows deep in her heart that place really exists, and she'll do anything to find it, with the help of some new found friends. There's only one thing she must do: Keep an open mind, it brings open hearts and open eyes. -- DISCLAIMER #2 This fanfiction is inspired to Mind Over Matter by Pvris and their lyrics in general. All you read here is fiction. every reference to real events or people is purely coincidental. I do not own the songs featured in the book. Credit to Pvris for the titles of the chapters. 2015 © Run-Dont-Walk

(not checked for SPAG) Aurora Montgomery, quiet and cold. Waiting for someone to help her out of her misery. No one came. After losing too many people in her lifetime, she becomes a person who's so worn down that no one could pick her up. She feels broken. She finds herself in senior year and while she's got an IQ of 145 and skills that could last her years if she were to list them all, it's still hard for her. Throw one snarky bad boy called Kingsley Nightingale, him being your fake partner and him being a dickhead to you into the mix, and what was supposed to be her life would be hell. But is it really hell? Because I'm pretty sure hell doesn't end up in real relationships. (This is a happy ending story though I feel as though 13 year old me did not think the name through!) (Set in 2018 (shes 18 in 2018) for the sake of your minds and my own, the maths needs to add up for me. If anything in my story is ahead of its time, don't correct me :))
