Historical fiction based on the maybe real, maybe not, perhaps mythical life of Gradlon Meriadoc Meur, the King of Brittany and Southern France.
Death, love, betrayal, miracles, magic, swords... What more could you ask for? Gradlon lives in a world of his own creation, conquering as many nations as he can until his soldiers mutiny against him, abandoning him in a Northern isle... What happens in his short time on the snow covered island will shape the rest of his life.

Excerpt:
The warrior uses some form of infernal magic and pins Gradlon to the ground, wiry strands of light weighing him down as they are reduced to hand to hand combat. The headpiece is discarded and the warrior is revealed to be a woman of indescribable and formidable beauty. A woman. The dark rings of her hair fell over his armor, and her eyes are dark blue, less blue... eyes that have more shimmer than his eyes. Against his will, feels his heart forming a golden thread between them. She smiles slowly. "I am Malgven," she said, "and I know you."
