At the peak of America's second civil war. The Pacific government created a super soldier program revolving around a mutated gene. Through experimentation a small sum of people in this gene pool gained a variety of super powers. However an accident at military base 'Nine Mile' caused a surge of energy that activated the mutation through the country.
Fifteen years after the war one family of the Gene-pool fights back against their repressive government.
