"Step out of my god damn way, before I make your children's children baby-less," I sneered with my arms crossed while trying to not break my neck by looking at the 6'3 skyscraper that goes by the name of Ace Parker.

Ace smirks at my reaction, and had the nerve to PAT my head and then the audacity to say, "Awe Princess, did someone deliver you your tampons yet? Stop getting your panties in a twist."

Yup, I, the carefree brunette with natural highlights messed with the school's sexiest bad boy. The one badass where his ego can't get any bigger, like literally, how can it? The one that can't go a minute without toying with a girl's emotions. The one that is intimidating and would fight anyone who steps in his way. Yeah, you get the point. But his jawline. Ooou his jawline will be the death of me. And his hair. Gahhh. I just want to fluff it up. Don't get me started on his lips. They're so lusci- Okay okay back to the point. Don't get me wrong, he looks like a Greek God and all, but if I could, I'd kick him to the moon because of his personality.

"I'll always be here for you when you need me," he whispers with his chin on my head.

Those words are the words that held me together, allowing me to open my heart to him. Is this what trusting feels like again?
