It's hard to be a genderfluid kid. That is Taylie's life. Taylie was born a girl but is genderfluid. They are in the 7th grade but got moved up to 8th grade and gets bullied a lot because of being genderfluid. They never feel bad or let the bullies get to them. No one really pays attention when they get bullied. Except one day someone finally notices and helps Taylie. His name is Issac. He is kind and in 9th grade. They become really good friends. Taylie starts to get feelings for him. Though they know Issac doesn't like them back. Or does he?

Clay has autism and finds comfort in simple things, the illuminated a fireplace on a winter's night, fish swimming and stuffed animals. However, this was all soon to change after a tragic accident. Clay finds himself alone, seeing his happiness slip away from one simple mistake. George doesn't have an easy home life, after noticing signs of possibly a muscle disease, his only wish is to get help for it, however his parents deny every word that is brought up about it. Yet, it gets worse by the day as George quickly looses any hope left. When Clay is left traumatised by his past, he thinks nothing will bring back the same happiness he once felt, but when George moves into the farm he often visits, that same joy that was extinguished with the fire, sparks again...
