Sixteen year old Anne never new her parents. She grew up thinking she was just a regular teenager, but ran away from the orphanage she was staying at when she was twelve.
Now, four years after that, she finds herself in upstate New York city.
She doesn't know why, but it feels right to be there. She suddenly runs into a really good looking guy. He looks like one of her favorite book characters, but little does she know what will happen next.
Suddenly Anne's life is turned upside down, and she has two almost impossible tasks. To save the guy she ran over, who introduced her to this crazy world, and to save the woman who claims to be her mother.
