Miles was a relatively simple person. He never cared for popularity or attention. He did care about running, however. "He feels the beads of sweat form on his forehead, and grins as the chilly wind embraces his pale face. Knowing that the finishing line is just ahead only seems to fuel him. He passes the person in fourth place... In third place- and then second place. He's so close, just one more step and-..." BEEP, BEEP. Another day of 7th grade. Miles actually doesn't do Track and Field, and he definitely doesn't go running at 6:00 AM. Most surprising of all, he thinks he has never ran out of gym class. He honestly just likes the idea that all you need to run is the track, and a pair of shoes. Well- that's what he initially thought.
