These butterflies took possession of my body every time you spoke.
With every word and breath I was captured, urging you to tell me more.
My body sends warnings of the danger that could be withheld, but no harm could come from a soul as kind as yours.
You describe forbidden adventures and I wonder why you would do such a risky thing.
Her name slowly inches out of the buried parts of your heart.
These butterflies begin to nip at my insides creating a certain unwanted ache.
Curiosity gets the best of my competitive self, because I have to know who she is.
You speak like she's treasure, and you'd go through Hell to keep her.
I can't sleep or think knowing that someone else has a vine wrapped around your heart.
I crave attention and affection.
I express only love and care for you.
Only if you could see me as a diamond.
Gently, I kill the vines growing inside of you, so softly that she's just a distant memory.
I only want you to look at me.
