In a society divided into two by their beliefs and lifestyle, conflict is bound to come in its way.
As for the New World, it happened three years ago.
The corpse of Iridius Halberg, savior and founder of the New World, was stolen.
It isn't much of a big deal, except that people have found a way to preserve Iridius' magic power in the said corpse, and it being stolen means someone possesses the power to remake or break the world they're in.
Due to this, Magnum Astren, the Magic Society, and Transmuros Ectnetica, the Technological Community, were divided once more.
Now, the High Council is off to find the culprit.
Apparently, Astreia's innocent father and one of the guardian mages of the corpse, was accused of such heinous crime by Transmuros Ectnetica. No one would heed her words, and they locked her father up, and ultimately execute him.
Astreia's time is running out; she has to make things right. The question is, how?

Two hundred years of peace have passed in Zertima, a land filled with magic, creatures, and mages. However, after those two hundred years comes an era of fear, fighting, and death. The Venom's Curse, known as the world's greatest danger, has climbed up to reach a level of great power, with the help of his fierce hunger for battle and commanding, that is strong enough to possibly secure his rule of the entire mage world. So... My life was pretty normal until... 1) My mother died. 2) My dad killed her. 3) And...I lodged a case on him as he killed her. Yeah, I know. My life is pure shitty. And do you what else makes it weird and shitty? The visions I get! See, I won't even be guilty to send my dad to prison 'cause I remember nothing about him. I only faintly remember mom too. Anyways... And then some weird monster decides to attack our school and Naya goes Egyptian sky goddess. (nuts) Hehe. Soon we find out that she is a 'that "m" word'. She tells us that we are magicians too! And then (*dramatic drum roll*).....The......quest begins. There is a home land of magicians. M-O-N-A-S-T-A-S-I-A It's a whole new planet between Earth and Mars. The planet was destroyed ages ago by a group of people which we have to bring back in 5 days, else it's pieces will crash on Earth and destroy the humanity completely. And the weirdness doesn't end here. We have to defeat a 'Dark Lord' too. He was a maniacal god who became a magician with the help of another magician. We have to kill him because if we don't then, he would kill us, which doesn't sound nice (and is a bit confusing) (*wink*). *** This is the first book of Monastasia series. The next book is "The Chained Goddess". The prequel is "Becoming A Grey Villainess". This is my first book and it may have some grammatical errors. Please point them out in comments.Complete

Their power and wealth has earned them a high status without having to marry a wife to gain it, something that was impossible before them. They are seen as a threat by the Council. In an attempt to control them, the Council orders that they must each take a wife in hopes that she can tame these men who show signs of being dominant. The women of Asorix stumble over one another trying to take at least one of the five as a husband for their harem because of their looks, money, and status in society that would all become their own. During this time the five men come across Damanea, a woman who isn't like the rest. She's the opposite of what women in their world are like. To Make a Kinder Children's Tale
Esme had one big fear in life: being captured as a thief by the city's guardsmen and being executed for her crimes, and that so heavily weighed on her mind that she increased her risks by being distracted in the middle of a heist. That's when she runs into Althalos Fourthborn: Inner Circle Guardsman, one of the many princes of the realm, an Aelif (Dark Elf, local dialect)...and her betrothed by treaty. (That was something her almost human mind could not handle.) So she calls off the heist, gets demoted into a far more risky job, learns the true bitter depth of what this treaty's bond is like, and lands safely by her prince's side....sort of. There were people who still wanted to end her life, even if she was in what most people would call a Happily Ever After. That and her prince had his own living fears that were gnawing at any chance they had. That and she might just lose her mind from everyday boredom. But the one she couldn't wrap her all-too human mind around was that she would one day grow wings and fly away from her almost Happily Ever After to live in a hive with ancestors more alien than a hottie with pointed ears and abandonment issues. ~~~~ Yes, there are adult themes in this book, and difficult subjects, but nothing is excessive, as this is probably my simplest story.
