Meet Winter Valentine. She knows what she is and she knows it must be kept as a secret. The elders of the Academy keep a close eye on her. Fearing that she can be a dangerous threat as she controls very strong powers. A dangerous power is approaching and not all the Elements can defeat them. The Merfolks Return is a sci-fi/fantasy novel. In the not-too-distant future, humanity's greed and "mefirst" ideology have driven the planet to a point of no return, exhausting its resources and raising the overall global temperatures to an extent that has led to the melting of the polar ice caps and submergence of coastal areas. To channel the excess water into the Sahara desert, the world's governing bodies send a team of scientists and experts to excavate the desert. However, their plans are stopped midway when a mysterious sphere emerges out of the water, bearing merpeople humans had only ever heard of in mythology. These humanoids called their kingdom Awal-Lantis, and their king invites representatives from humans to forge a treaty that may be the only hope the future of humanity has. Rebecca, his lover, traveled in time for multiple occasions trying to find a solution to save humankind and the planet from severe contamination. Once, she saw his lover dying in the future for rejecting a direct order from the government. Rebecca Alingston decides to forcefully transform Dillon into a super robot which will be known as H.O.P.E. As part of her plan, Hope will save humankind and Earth, then later in the future will save her. After the transformation Hope turns out to have a partial amnesia and doesn't remember about his past person. Now he will try to find out who he is and why is he programmed to save humanity. In his journey he finds a friend, Evans an optimist person who will literally change his life forever.
