The Enemy Within

A young, fearless, warrior must protect her clan and her land from enemies beyond her frontiers. She must also contain dissension from within her clan; execute wisdom, strategy and boldness as expected of the Tribal Chief.
With her cruel mother dead at the hands of the elders of her very tribe and an ailing father who continues to provoke invasions; Chief Grisell Blane has her hands more than full. But she also has to content with an obnoxiously handsome neighbouring enemy who threatens her heart, whilst he is hated by her tribe.

The strikingly beautiful, aristocratic Lady Chief must battle the enemies within and the danger beyond her borders, to prove she is capable of reigning as the Chief of the Dalmahoy clan. A title that is rightfully hers, held by the eldest child of Dalmahoy for centuries before her.
