Scarlett Hayes has spent all of high school with a reputation she doesn't care to fix-she's the girl who never falls, the player who never stays. But when Ethan Walker transfers to her school, he's the first guy who doesn't seem interested. In fact, he wants nothing to do with her. Ethan knows Scarlett's type, and he refuses to be just another name on her list. But avoiding her isn't so easy when she happens to be his best friend's little sister-and when she's always around, slowly proving she's more than just the rumors. The more time they spend together, the more Ethan starts to question everything he thought he knew about her-and everything he's been telling himself about not falling for her. Because some lines aren't meant to be crossed. And some hearts aren't meant to be played with. But Scarlett Hayes doesn't play fair.
