Everybody has their story. You know: Snow White, Cinderella, the whole nine yards; and Castiel would like to say that his started when he was born, but it didn't. Not really, anyway. His story started when he went to Ladybird Diner in Lawrence, Kansas and met the one and only Dean Winchester. Well, I'm sure there are other Dean Winchesters as well, but it's more than likely that none of them have charm quite like the one Cas fell in love with, a sempiternal gem that would wrap its way around Cas' soul, or whatever he has, and squeeze it so tight it'd nearly explode.

After he lands a job at his little brother Sams high school, he meets the one and only Castiel Novak. He can't help but notice his magnificent ocean blue eyes, and the way he tilts his head when he's confused about something, or his raven black sex hair. Dean couldn't help but feel an ache in his chest every time he sees him, but he had no clue why. Castiel Novak only had two years of school left before he could finally escape the hell that is Sioux Falls High School. Every since he moved here he's had a hard time making friends. After all, being gay wasn't a good thing to be at his school. He would constantly get mentally and emotionally abused by his classmates. Two more years, he kept telling himself, and then he would graduate and get a degree in fine arts. When the new English teacher, Mr. Winchester, shows up Castiel immediately takes interest. Maybe, it was his gorgeous Emerald green eyes, or his ashy blonde hair that was always spiked up perfectly. Whatever it was, Castiel knew he would like this new teacher. A college Destiel AU fic. Castiel Novak is 20 years old, and on the verge of a mental break down just about every damn day of his life. He went to college to live up to his mother's expectations, but he's starting to rethink whether or not he actually cares about that. Maybe it was the new found independence of living his own life? Or maybe it was the mysterious chat from a stranger that set him on the edge of rebellion. He only accepted the chat because he had no friends in the real world to begin with... maybe he could use on online friend. --------- Dean Winchester never knew how much he needed someone to care for. With his little brother Sammy away at a different college and living with his girlfriend, Dean was all alone, where he previously had never had a moment to himself. Dean started a chat with a stranger to find himself a new friend. He quickly realized how much he actually enjoyed the anonymous personality on the other side of the screen. And through his 22 years, he had never fallen for someone as much as he did the kid from the party. Little did he know, they were the same person. - started publishing: september 16th, 2018 ended publishing: february 10th, 2019 I hope to update daily, I pre-wrote most of this story before the publication date, so if I'm not updating enough, let me know :)

After rescuing his vessel's daughter Castiel sets out on a life of his own feeling like a failure now that he is human again. He makes his way to Chicago, discards his phone, his last tie to the Winchesters, and takes on a job as a janitor in a school, but no matter how far he runs away from Kansas, he can't escape his feelings for Dean. He thinks Dean doesn't want him after their last altercation and it's not until he finds an email from Dean in his inbox that he is reminded of everything he left behind, and the only place that was ever really home to him. With some help from Charlie, Dean is able to track Cas down, but will he have the guts to finally open up about how he really feels? Read and find out. Comment if you like it. It was suppose to be a one shot but it's getting too long. There is some smut later down the line, but it was fun to write. I'll keep adding on to it until it's done.

During a dangerous case with Sam and Dean something goes wrong and Castiel goes missing, this isn't like the other times Cas has disappeared, this is different, it's strange even for Cas. With Castiel gone Dean doesn't eat or sleep he just drinks and prays wondering if Cas can hear him. Day and night he checks the newspapers and police reports from every city, and county in the US for any sign of the trench coat angel. With no leads things become even more bleaker. Dean throws himself down a hole, and Sam is becoming increasingly worried about about Dean so he seeks out help from from another angel to see if they know anything about the whereabouts of Castiel. Castiel is lost he doesn't know where he is or who he is. He just goes where his feet take him. He never eats or sleeps but he doesn't he have to, he doesn't know why he doesn't eat and it doesn't bother him much cause it would just slow him down. He remembers nothing about Sam or Dean or even himself for that matter, but something is itching at the wall in the back of his head trying to break through, it wants to get out but can't. He gets fragments of things every so often but they are of pain and torture and a redhead he doesn't know the name of. One day a pleasant memory comes through the cracks in his wall he can't place where it came from. The only thing he knows is he needs to find the man with the stunning green eyes.
