I got tired of waiting for season three of Race to the Edge, so this takes place right after season two. I will try to work season three into the plot as much as possible.

Taken prisoner, you must tell them what you know about the Holder, or, as they call it, the Dragon Eye. The Holder was built by you're grandparents as a fail safe way too protect the knowledge. As a lycanwing, it is your job to protect the knowledge at all costs. As a princess, it is your job to protect you're people. Now you must choose.

Dagur is given the assignment of watching the new prisoner. They don't suspect him of freeing Heather. He has vowed to never let anyone get that close to him again. Not when it can get in the way of his revenge.

"Not every person knows the truth, some rulers made sure to hide every fragment of the past" After Hiccup retrieved the Dragon Eye from Dagur, something in him told him to keep the mysterious object a secret from the rest of the dragon riders, it wasn't until the rest of them were busy with their own busy schedule, each of them finding their own vocation and giving up finding more new species of dragons, he decided to explore what the object was made for, thanks to dragon fire light, they found the different islands that it was shown, Heart Break Island it said in the light. His journey would start there. Without knowing, his path would be threading softly, ancestors of his past will be uncovered, discovering the truth behind the years of conflict and wars between dragonkind and humankind. Would Hiccup want to go back to Berk after everything he learned and seen, the secret island of dragons, the truth about Berk, but the most important part is: upon arriving, he feels like home in Dagsátr Island, would he give up his only chance on freedom and exploring dragons or would he go back to his tribe to take one day the role of Chief and feel himself getting lost in his own tribe. Or a, "what if...?", where Hiccup in RTTE goes to retrieve the treasure Johan left behind, encountering Dagur, and stealing back the Dragon Eye from him, he goes on an adventure to an island where he will discover the secret of his past ancestors.

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III a teenage Viking who earn the ranks to kill his first ever Dragon in Dragon Training. He could not kill it, he wouldn't kill it knowing himself having one of them as his own, never the less, he was afraid of losing his only best friend, Toothless. He would never trust and look at him the same way. So he decided to take matters into his on hands by running away or flying away from berk, not the best move but knowing he was know as the village runt or the Chief's screwup and would always get beat up for no valid reasons by his cousin and his friends, sure he pass every training with a prefect score but he still did not get the respect that he deserve from the villagers. If he so tried to convince them. No one would listen to him. Not even his own father. But he wasn't running away with just Toothless but with Astrid as well. After their romantic flied which also change her view on dragons, and their discovery of the red death, Hiccup was still planning to run away even though he have just finally friended an actual human, he decided to tell her so he don't have to let her worry about him leaving without a word in the next day. When he finish telling her his plan and surprisingly to hiccup and even Toothless she beg to come with and she also told him her reason. Turns out Astrid Hofferson was abused and pressured by her own family. She have enough of it, Hiccup didn't really have yes as his first nor second choice but she beg him until he gave up and let her tag along. What would happen to them?, will this new path that choose was path to a bright future?,will something spark between them? (Obviously). What would the village have to say about this? Never the less hiccup's dad and Astrid's parents would say about this?, how would the gang react? Find out........ A/N:I change the plot so do not refer this fiction to the franchise of this movie.
