This is the original version of the story. To Read The Rebooted Story, either go to my page or search "The Death Note Fic Series: L's Family" If you can't find it, then I haven't released it yet.

L was not ready to be a father, but one day Watari brings home two abandoned little boys, Nate and Michael. Not wanting them to end up without a family the way he did, he adopted them as his own sons. Despite the two boys not being blood related, they do act like brothers. With both the trouble of raising them plus a boy named Matt visiting, L struggles to keep his sanity. He may not be the best father, but he sure is an interesting one.

Note: I do not own any of the Death Note characters and all credit for art seen in this non-profit fanfiction belongs to their respective and incredibly talented creators.

My eyes were literally glowing, there was no mistaking it. It was not a reflection of light, or any of the other excuses I had used or others had assumed. They were glowing a light sapphire blue color. It was not a bright glow, but it was definitely a glow. Glowing eyes were not normal. Okay, at this point I had to admit it, I was no longer normal.
