Horsekit has a great reputation. Her mother, Cinderstripe, saved the clan from the Twolegs. You'd be respected too, right? Until she became mute and disfigured. An accident involving a fox, kills her brother, and permanently injures her. Stormstar, the leader, doesn't think that she could become a warrior, what she wanted to be when she was old enough. So he appoints her as the medicine cat apprentice AND a warrior apprentice. He says she has to train in both positions.
