Emily and Jessica finally made it to their first town dance since their parents died.  The town was amazed by Emily's beauty. Everything seemed to be going good until *bam* gunshots. Everyone was screaming. By the time Emily and Jessica made it to the bathroom people they knew were being torn apart piece by piece. Emily was left to defend her sister. 

In the new world where you can't trust anyone or those you do trust you have to keep safe. Emily will try her best to keep her sister safe. No one else will die.

But then again, they've never really paid much attention to their daughter unless they wanted something from her. Helen would rather live on the streets and eat out of garbage dumpsters then return to her parents and marry the man that would make her life a living hell. At least on the streets she's free.
