17 years ago Alan and Donna Ackles had a bit of a rough patch in their marriage. Causing Alan to move up north for a few months. Alan meets Jude Thomas at a bar one night and they hit it off pretty well. I'm pretty sure you can tell what I mean by that. They'd gotten each other numbers went to a motel and well you get the rest. Alan eventually feeling guilty moved back in with his wife, who he then told about his little mess up while living in New England. Obviously it did not go over well with Donna, but eventually they both moved passed it almost completely, until a few months later Alan got a call from Jude saying she was pregnant. Alan not wanting anymore rough patches in his marriage wanted nothing to do with the child. Telling Jude to either get rid of it and never talk to him again, or keep it, but still never talk to him again.
Seventeen years later here sits AddisonGrace Hope Thomas sitting in her red '65 Ford Thunderbird in traffic behind the moving truck which towed her moms minivan behind it, with her four dogs scattered around the car, going to meet her awaiting mother and half siblings in Texas. She didn't want to move in the middle of her Junior year, but when her mom had a chance to make more money and be with Addison's stepdad who would most likely be stationed there, they went for it. You grew up to be a hunter despite your fathers wishes for you. Your father, Bobby Singer, hated that you were in this line of work, and he always blamed himself for ridding you of a normal life. It's not like he didn't try to shield you from this life. For the majority of your childhood you weren't aloud to touch weapons or read up on anything supernatural - but his efforts went to waste whenever the Winchesters were over. Growing up an only child with just your father to keep you company could have been boring, but every once in a while one of your dad's old hunting buddies would drop his two sons off at your house. The Winchesters just received the most unexpected of the calls and now their life is on the verge of undergoing another, perhaps just as radical change. After losing his mother and his best friend, Dean found himself in a very dark place, unable to share Sam's stubborn hope that Mary might be alive and refusing to mourn Castiel. He's been stuck between trying to cope with their losses, with the aid of unhealthy amounts of alcohol, and being unable to hold back his anger issues, of which Sam and Jack have become the unlucky main targets. The reunion with the angel, while, on one hand, shines a fresh ray of hope on the boys' path, on the other puts a spotlight on the mistakes made in the previous weeks and brings up issues that have been ignored and avoided for too long. Cas is determined to reconnect with Jack and try to fix the relationship between Dean and the nephilim, together with helping his best friend to heal. This assuming that he can get through the older hunter first. Because getting Dean Winchester to talk about his feelings can turn out to be as hard as stopping the umpteenth apocalypse.
