"I love you. I'm sorry. Goodbye." And with that I shut the car door, looked at the pain in my moms eyes as we drove of to start our new lives.
Unfortunately that wasn't the last she saw of him. A year later, on her birthday, he broke into their house and attempted to kidnap her. He got away, and then he tried again at christmas and again a few months later. He tried again and again getting more and more extreme until he nearly killed her after school last year.
So now she was Emily Sams, the new girl at Caesium High, California. She wanted a normal life; and she hopped that this time she would get it. But when Alec Megans and Jonathan Parker enter her life through the back door, she realises that maybe that wish is a little hopeless.
