In the year 2176 Earth is no longer able to sustain human life. The solution? Inter-Planetary Colonies. These are scattered across the universe on "Golden Planets," planets that are similar enough to Earth so that we can live there. Each colony consists of 30 families, each given an important job that ensures a sustainable future. The fate of the human race depends on these colonies.

This is my home, Planet 2247- Hena.
The original settlers were volunteers; they left their families behind. My great-grandfather was one of the original settlers of this colony. He and my great-grandmother met for the first time on the starship headed here. They were given two children, one boy and one girl, to raise as their own. Our family was registered as number 12, agricultural duties.
Since then our colony has learned and adapted to our new home planet. The members of my family have become experts in farming, as have every other family with their own assigned jobs.
I have lived on Hena my whole life. This small colony is my entire world. Now that I am older, I have begun to long for something more. There must be more to my future than this. My name is Raina Pacific, and this is my story.
