I haven't slept in three days.I can feel the bags under my eyes, but am too afraid to close them. I just sit there, staring at the corridor, at the flickering bathroom light and the tap, tap, tap of something scraping the door.
Something or someone.
The tap gets quicker, I hunch up tighter, then suddenly the light goes out. My heart almost stops.
