Your average, everyday good girl. Good grades, never gets in trouble, just waiting until she can get out of the little small town of Avalon, California. She never really had understood why every girl and boy at her school strived to be popular, when they would be out of this place in a year. Her only real prized possession was the necklace that her dad gave her before he left. That, her two best friends, Amber and Mason, good grades, and her mom were the only things she really cared about.
She was never the biggest girly-girl or tomboy. She was in the middle. Average. That is until Jackson Myers changed her life .

Bad boy. That's the only real way to describe him. He's switched around schools every year or two for the past eight years, ever since his mom died when he was nine. All he's ever wanted was attention from his dad. So yeah, he causes some trouble. Gives himself a reputation. Loves playing the girls. Now, after so many years of playing that part, he's become it. This was the the year his dad promised him he wouldn't move again. Staying in Avalon, California, until he went to college.
But maybe that isn't such a bad thing.

When Jackson moves next door to Charlotte, he immediately feels the need to pull a little joke on her. Meaning, that Charlotte has no choice but to do one back. So, you know the basic pranks happen, some jokes. They just have a little fun. Until everything falls apart, when their parents ruin it all. Then if that wasn't enough an old 'friend' comes for a visit.
And that isn't even the half of it.
