Amor's independent, exciting life in college has not started on the right note.
First to save herself and her parents heavy debt she needs to live with her Tia Esmeralda. The same Tia that accused her Mama of ruining their family by marrying a field worker, her Papa. Then the cute, neighbor boy that has his own family issues stuns her with a smile that makes her warm. Finally, a tumultuous night makes it all hit the fan and set her way back.
