Alec Rodriguez is just your average 16 year old teenager who loves 3 things: Family/friends, his girlfriend Naima, and poetry. When he decides to showcase his poetry by rapping it, he is suddenly known to the student body as the school's best MC. Alec decides to use this newfound popularity to write a mixtape and become a known rapper. However, will this popularity change Alec for the better or for the worse, that is the question?
