Katerina Mae Reid was forced to leave her cozy, little apartment in the center of New York to go live with her aunt, step-uncle, and nerdy cousin Scott Smalls for the summer.
Her parents thought that getting out of the busy city and spending time with her family might help her with her "attitude problem". Yeah. Right.
Scott Smalls and his parents had just moved to a small town in California. And that small town in Cali was the last place Kat wanted to spend her summer in.
