You and your best friend, Sylvia have been orphaned and living in the woods outside the walls for the last three years, surviving on your own at age (Y/A) wasn't easy at first but when you and Sylvia found the rusted 3Dmg and you started killing the Titans, life became bloody fun for you. Soon enough though, the scouting legion will find you on an expedition outside the walls and take you back with them to learn how you've been learning how to use 3dmg on your own and how you've been killing Titans without gunblades.

This is the first time I've written a story like this, however I feel that I should explain some plot points since I did try to stick as close to the anime canon as possible but there are a few things I'd like to clear up first. Another thing I wanted to point out is that I know that the scouts didn't live in the abandoned castle until after they got Eren in the Survey Corps however I set the story there the majority of the time since I have no clue where they lived before and this is my story so I'll do what I want XD. I'm going to write for a female reader since it should be easier for me to write for this story that way, but I plan on doing more gender neutral stories in the future if this goes over well. This will only be rated 18+ near the end (Like literally only in the last chapter) as I mostly want to focus on the relationship the reader forms with Levi and I don't want my first story to be pure smut.
