Jackie, a seventeen year old Russian immigrant, lived her life through the system.

She's never thrived in one place. Not a single foster home, or any orphanage that she's been in gave her the change she needed.

Rock bottom is when she's thrown in juvie as a final warning.

What she didn't expect, was someone who would want to foster her yet again.

This time, as she's made to live in San Fransisco for the second time in her life, everything she's been running from forces its way back into her life.

The only difference is, she can't run anymore.

~•~•~

All it takes for her to break, is a familiar face.

A name..

A certain attitude..

A person, that she thought she'd never have to face again. One less person, that vanished from her life.

But, he's a trigger for her.

For everything she hates in life. And everything she's tried to leave behind.

She's trapped. Chained by misery and heartache.

When things get difficult again, her heart is at trial.

~•~•~

"We are prisoners of our minds, and slaves of our hearts. And even if what's left of our hearts have lost the natural human ability to feel...feelings can always be brought back to life..

"After all...feeling is what the heart is made for."
