Killing The Silence

TRAVIS MYRES doesn't fully understand why he has been given a second chance at life. Nor does he think he deserves it. Five years he had given his life to the service of his country; but after losing his men in an ambush, he doesn't know if he can do it anymore. Being sent home on recovery leave, he returns to his family ranch in North Carolina and tries to distract himself with the work needed done there. Helping her resentful older sister to care for their sick grandmother. But she is out of practice with the ways of a small town, having grown used to the fast pace of the city. Trying to balance the demands of her job in New York from here with the needs of her grandmother; the last thing she is looking for is a serious relationship.
