You could say he was a villain. A permanent frown is glued to his features, it never seems to slip from his looks. The only time his expressions seem to change is when he sees someone in love. His frown turns into hate, utter hate for this emotion that does nothing to help you. He doesn't seem to get why would anyone want this emotion, why people would go for miles for love. Either for their families or their significant other, people go crazy. Now, he'll shake his head at all signs even though he was one of them as well.
