Out of the ordinary 2 is the second novel out of a planned three novel story.

I have completed the first draft of (Out of the ordinary 1) But due to it being the first novel I wrote, there are lots of problems that need to be addressed before I believe it to be any where near ready.
I am my own worst critique at times. I am in the process of writing this new novel. So far I would say I was about 60% complete of a first draft. This follows on from the first novel, so readers, if any, will not know the characters or what happened previously. However, I have tried to write it so it won't be too confusing by not having read the first novel

Out of the ordinary 2 begins five years from where out of the ordinary 1 had ended.
The story starts with John who is searching for his lost fiancee, who was, five years ago, pregnant with his child. John is very special as has many special abilities. There are thousands of people around the world who also have abilities, but none as powerful as John.
John eventually learns where his fiancee and child are being kept and who has taken them. The government agency have taken thousands of people with abilities and are actively converting them into mindless zombie like soldiers, nicknamed "The wonderers."
To make matters worse, an alien armada is headed for earth with intent to invade and rule over the human race.

A prophecy was once told that a god will be born upon the world and the slavers would be enslaved, his spawn will rule and bring an end to chaos. John's child is that prophecy, and he is destined to rule over the earth in the aliens favour.
With the fate of the world at John's finger tips. He now has to protect his child, whilst fighting back against the alien uprising. He has to do everything in his power to stop this prophesy from coming true.

Jack and Ann have taken me on a great adventure full of mystery and incredible technology, I hope you'll join us. I know you have a lot of reading choices, but if you have space left in your literary adventure cup, please join Jack and Ann as 2021 turns into 2022, happy reading! __ The demon whispers inside Jack's mind. "They are not worthy, they are cattle, these new humans you covet. The so-called creator has betrayed you, replaced you with these organic imitations. Slaughter them all." It's funny, not in a ha-ha funny way, but a sad, my madness doesn't make sense type of way, Jack thinks, because wasn't he human? Worse still, the voice comes with impulses that are hard to resist. Violence usually ensues. That's why he joined the military. A way to channel his urges into mind-numbing physical effort and war. It works for a time. But alcohol and fighting can only carry on for so long. Finally, he realizes, his only way out is suicide. But when he opens his eyes, he's in the In-Between. The creator has other plans for him, and she won't take no for an answer. Apparently, this isn't his first life and if he doesn't free her from her prison, it won't be his last. His curse is to be reborn without end, without rest, without memory. Only madness. Now Jack is on the run from forces he doesn't understand. It's a new world. The mundane replaced by ethereal artificial intelligence, spontaneous virtual realities, and homicidal bible salesmen. But the creator promises the demon's voice will disappear as soon as he finds the right girl, the right bond. After that, they just have to escape the clutches of those who hunt them, find the Isle of Song, and free the creator from her prison. Or maybe this time, in this life, Jack will figure out what true freedom is. Come along on this action-packed thriller as Jack fights to remember who he is, tries to end an eternal war, and atone for sins he doesn't remember...yet.

BOOK 1 From the moment the Declaration of Independence was signed, there were people who didn't agree with it. This included a small group of politicians who called themselves Chaos. They vowed to someday take over America and start over with a utopian society where everyone would have a common goal. They slowly infiltrated the government, filling it with corrupt leaders. They planned a mass attack on the U.S. on July 2, 2076, Americas 300th birthday. On that day, they assassinated the president and began bombing in New York. Unfortunately, Chaos only had about 200 soldiers so they came up with a technology to implant a chip in the nervous system and essentially control them. So basically, each solider could make a civilian a soldier and the civilian would be forced to fight and make soldiers of their own. The whole operation snowballed and everything went according to plan. Unlike in other stories, there is no hope and the only way to survive is though the CPO (citizen protection organization), created by Benjamin Franklin. It's a system of secret subway tunnels, used to evacuate civilians to safely. Out story begins on July 2, 2076 when the first bomb drops. Madalyn Grace and her friends are caught in this apocalypse and must find away to leave.
