I read the book in 1997. It changed my life. I realized I wanted to write then but I was busy with everything else in my life. Now I am diving into writing. I'm trying to find the muse. I believe Richard Matheson was one of them. He died in 2013 and then Robin Williams (who played Chris Nielsen in the movie) died in 2014. The quotes are all Richard Matheson, my muse. I add my thoughts in the end.
