Although Harlee grew up in San Antonio, Texas, and Ricky grew up in Seattle, Washington, they stayed best friends for years. Ricky's parents have a road trip in all 50 states every summer. After all these years they had dark moments, happy moments, said goodbyes, helped through broken hearts, had fought for each other, never let go of the other, protects each other, gets expelled from a school sticking up for the other.
