Years ago a place known as "Wonderland" existed, however, everything changed after Alice apeared. Alice kept returning to Wonderland, and soon her children came in her stead. Her twins, Christian and Abigail decided to 'Free' Wonderland.
Thus Wonderland was destroyed, and all who lived there were forced into hiding.
When Wonderland dissapeared The Hatter, Cheshire, Hare, Rabbit, and the Caterpillar used the last of their power to make a new dimension which the others could access and exit on full new moons.

To enter the Dwells, you must present the Dormouse, Guardian of Dwellserland, with a candle of blue, a rusty and a new nail, a white rose, and you must carry a broken pocket watch engraved with a rabbit.

Hatter's Revenge (rewriting - read at own risk)
There are a few things you need to know about Wonderland. First off, completely misnamed. It should be Terrorland. People don't just accidentally tumble into Wonderland, it sucks them in. There is no following of cute white rabbits with pocket watches. Wonderland is dangerous and you can lose a lot more than your head if you're not careful. Second, the Hearts are in control, but they shouldn't be. The throne of Wonderland rightfully belongs to the Spade heir. But he's currently missing. Third, and probably most important, is that Madison Hatter is NOT a native of Wonderland. He was yanked through a mirror many years ago and has been trying to survive Wonderland ever since. Now he has an idealistic young Real-Worlder on his hands and a rebellion in his heart. Mad is going to remove that Heart Queen if it's the last thing he does. She's the one who stole him from his life all those years ago and he's been waiting for the moment when he can tear her life to shreds in repayment.
