Amelia has been going from foster home to foster home since she was born. In one of her homes she met a boy, Stefan. He was five years younger than her and lived with his dad. She became his babysitter and an unbreakable bond formed between them.
Eight years later she lives in New York City with a new foster family. They weren't the nicest and not the worst either.
