Everything was going like a normal day for Lindsey. Until the world was brought down from the zombie virus. Nobody knows how it started but people started attacking each other like they do in all the zombie books and movies Lindsey could remember. Facing one of the worst situations for a 17 year old girl, she has to battle for the lives of her and her siblings.

    One lesson she learned from her movies is to never trust people. She won't let her remaining family end up hurt so she keeps them away from people, until one day on a scavenging run by herself she comes across one guy who helps her. She allows this guy to come with her in hopes of having an extra person to keep them all alive. She just hopes she doesn't make a huge mistake trusting him.


    Jeremy's had a terrible life. The day of his 18th birthday the virus hit and he was glad. If not he would be lying in the gutter, beaten by those he trusted and considered family. His forgiving nature was going to get him killed, but not so much now.

    He's always wanted a family that he can love, without them using him. One day he comes across this cute girl getting cornered inside a building and he doesn't think she knows it. He refuses to ignore anyone that looks like they were in danger, which is something he didn't want to deal with because of his nature and it's something everybody abuses. But he decides to help her and realizes she could be very useful for him. He asks if he can join her to keep trouble from happening again. He hopes she can be a love who is good. 

    Lindsey's siblings instantly love Jeremy. But could something happen between those two? Can they trust each other? Will Lindsey trust anyone ever again after what happened to her parents? Is Lindsey the person Jeremy has always wanted?

Again, how could he be so calm? ~~~~~ Based on resident evil characters the book entails the journey for survival in a toxic world. After been given false hope that the virus has been dealt with and that what occurred in Raccoon City would never occur again Claire Redfield proves US officials wrong after being attacked in her own home. Being faced with zombies among other creatures again Claire is left with nothing but to face her past. A past she though she had left behind resurfaces as her place of refuge was now another ghost town. Claire's learns far more than she bargained for as the limits are touched. There was more to turn Racoon City tragedy and this is just the beginning of Claire's journey to the truth. Will she survive another nightmare or will she join the team of the undead? Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.

Each helping another to survive the dangers of the what the world has become. They bond, they trust but Dream stands out from the others because she is strange and mutant-like. No one could fully trust her, not that it'd matter anyway because Dream trusts no one except herself. So, when they receive a message which sends them to the very top of the hotel. Floor 31. They are forced to fight and kill zombies and monsters just for a chance of safety. But does this 'safety' even exist?

About how guilty I feel for not visiting their grave for the past 11 years?! I didn't even realize how long it's been, I had pretty much forgotten about them for 11 years! Do you know what kind of guilt is eating at me right now!" I shouted in angst, my hands grabbing at the clothes on top of my head and pushing it into myself, wanting to just be shielded away from everything I was feeling, guilt, sadness, from thinking about more people I've lost in my life. Before I could even react, Keeley's tiny arms wrapped themselves around my torso. ~ 
Garret had a difficult life. His parent's died when he was 10, and he got moved around for 4 year's in foster care. He finally find's a home where he feels like he's family, He has a mom, dad and a brother. 4 years later things happen and everything start's to go wrong. People die and people you thought you knew show a whole different side. Garret finds himself distancing from everybody. Because if he's not close to anybody, they cant get hurt. Right? 
One day while at a fight he runs into Keeley, who is a spirited and confident little fireball. when they met it left an impression on Garret, soon he finds himself wanting to know her more. and soon, he find's himself falling for her.

This is a second view point from my original story - A Different Virus - Heartfire. I highly advise reading the original book first. Intro: Laura was a happy child without a care in the world. She loved her parents and life was perfect. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. People started talking about a bad flu that was spreading and sending some into a coma. Her parents grew worried and stocked the house in case of a pandemic. Months later another virus appeared. Her family was shocked when the news people started reporting that zombies were actually real and not just part of a horror movie. They were appearing in every country. Her parents reassured her that none of the zombie sightings had been anywhere close to them. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent?
